A sweet life in downtown Bridgeport
Una dolce vita means "a sweet life" — and that's exactly what we brought to 940 Broad Street in August 2022. Pizza and gelato, two of Italy's greatest pleasures, under one roof in downtown Bridgeport.
How it started
CT Post called it "a slice of NYC" arriving in Connecticut. We came to Bridgeport with a simple belief: this city deserved seriously good pizza and real Italian gelato.
Pizza done with intention
From flatbreads loaded with prosciutto and shaved parmesan to specialty pies with ricotta and balsamic, every slice is made to be memorable. We keep over a dozen varieties in the case daily — Sicilian, Grandma, and everything in between.
Then comes the gelato
Gelato isn't an afterthought here — it's half the identity of this place. Creamy, scooped fresh daily, and the sweet punctuation at the end of every visit.
